Next Public Running Saturday and Sunday 12th and 13th April 10am to 4:30pm is our Miniature Steam Gala.

But first, we'd just like to say thank you to the many of you that came along to the running session in March and made such kind comments about your time with us. It is realy nice for us to see people enjoying what we put on. I think we ran four different steam engines during the day, which is a good sign for our preparations for the Steam Gala.

Please note that we have limited Car Parking for visitors directly on the site, but that we have arranged free parking off the adjacent Jays Close, which has convenient access to the main field, just follow our signs.

Members' and Visitors' Running Days 2025

The club has running days where any member of the club can run their railway, traction or stationary engine at our facilities. The aim of the day is to run, enjoy, socialise and show models to other club members. Unfortunately these events are not open to the public due to restrictions on our insurance policy.

Members of other clubs are welcome to attend any members' day throughout the year. Boiler certificates will be required. Please get in contact if you wish to run from another club to let us know to expect you (and to make sure we have enough tea and biscuits).

Members day running is usually from about 10am to 5pm.
